ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE
Check-in: from 3 p.m.
When you arrive at Hotel Kristall, we would like you to register in our guestbook. A member of our family will welcome you personally and give you the key for your room. On the day of your arrival your room will be ready for you from 3pm onwards. If you arrive earlier, we are happy to provide a changing room so you can go skiing. You may also park your car at the hotel parking lot earlier.
Check-out: by 10.30 a.m.
If you want to go skiing on your day of departure, you may still change and shower in the sauna area at the hotel after checking out.
APRÉS-SKI
Obertauern is well known for its ‘Tauernrunde’ and for its ‘Hüttenrunde’. There are many different Après Ski bars and ski lodges to choose from. After your Après Ski experience you can ski right up to the front door of Hotel Kristall.
ARRIVAL BY CAR
Click here for your directions to Obertauern. There is a bypass right beside the ascending road between ‘Hotel Perner’ and the Information Center which branches off the highway at ‘Brücke 5’ (bridge 5). This street will lead you to the Sports Center and right to Hotel Kristall. You can also use the street between ‘Skischule Krallinger’ and the ‘Edelweiß’ hotel to the Sports Center and left to our hotel.
ARRIVAL BY PLANE
If you land in Salzburg we recommend a taxi transfer with the Habersatter taxi company (best price at their website; drive time: 1 hour). If you land in Klagenfurt you can take the Kärntenshuttle (from/to the airport; drive time: 1.5 hours).
ARRIVAL BY TRAIN
The closest train station to Obertauern is in Radstadt. There are several direct bus connections to Obertauern from this train station.
